Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 14, 2009 4:03 pm Hi all, Where to start!? I am currently tryin to repaint our kitchen which was originally Pink . I have just replaced the doors with antique white and the bench tops are still pink/brown flecks. Our walls I have just painted in half strenght hogs bristle, trims antique white usa. Our tiles are also a hideous colour - a cross between terracota/pink/red. I was thinking of tryin to choose a colour to put above the top cupboards, that may take the emphasis away from the pink benchtops (we will hopefully replace those with neutral colour later). Any ideas...advice would be great! I was thinking browns maybe? I will try and upload a pic Cheers Re: Colour help PLEASE! 2Oct 14, 2009 5:40 pm Hi Belle, welcome to the forum. A pic would certainly help. There are lots of very colour savvy (hope that's how you spell it!) people on this forum and I'm sure that with a pic you will get lots of suggestions. Good luck. You can see the nice pink benchtop . http://img67.imageshack.us/content.php? ... ia=mupload in this one you can see the colour of the tiles not sure it's such a good shot. I really want to stay away from pinks and reds. We have tiles that are waiting to be laid and they are a mushroom colour but I can't see hubby putting them down for sometime but I couldn't cope with all the pink that long. My advice…really…is to wait till you have your new floor down to make any feature paint colours in the kitchen space. Ohhh and the new bench top, wait till that goes in……be patient Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Colour help PLEASE! 11Oct 14, 2009 8:08 pm Belle Yeah I should be patient shouldnt I.
