Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 13, 2009 12:58 pm Hi - I have just brought a place in Melville which has a carport. I am looking to enclose one side of this by erecting a brickwall on the fenceline. A draftsmen came out today and quoted $1,500 for the plans. I was just wondering if this is consistent, or if anyone can suggest a better alternative. We are only getting a brickwall !!!!! Cheers Re: Drafting Costs 2Oct 13, 2009 1:14 pm We were quoted around $800-$1000 to draw up plans for a pergola and deck. You may get some cheaper quotes, but I'm guessing not a lot cheaper.... Re: Drafting Costs 3Oct 13, 2009 4:10 pm That sounds expensive, it cost us $3000 for a 2 storey house on a slopping block, friend are getting there drafting for $2000 for a split level home with both of us having to work with tuff convernants. I would be shopping around.
