Re: Paying extra site costs 13Oct 16, 2009 10:08 pm Hi rubber_noggin, Which builder did you use? Thanks. rubber_noggin We had a 'piering appointment' on site with our builder. This was so they could show us how much piering would be required after the holes were drilled and just before the concrete was poured. The building tender had a PA of 60 metres. The actual amount on the day was 62 metres. So we had 2 metres of 'extra' concrete to pay & signed off on that on the day. All I can say is that the builder was very close in their estimation of the amount of piering needed. I guess some get is right and some don't. Makes you wonder how some can get it so wrong though. Waiting for 2010 Land registration.... I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 12991 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 15928 Henley should give you some indication of site costs.
