Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 29, 2009 8:20 pm I'm sorry if this is in the wrong area but I'm in need of some advice! My couch has been sitting at my parents house along with mice. There are droppings all over it and I need to get it disinfected and usable again. It's fabric furniture from Freedom and they mention a professional dry cleaner for cleaning. Has anyone got some advice on what I could do? Can the steam cleaning machine from Coles do? Or, does anyone know of one in Western Suburbs of Melbourne that would fix it for me? I move in on Friday! Any advice would be great! Re: HELP! Need to disinfect a couch! 2Sep 29, 2009 9:16 pm Just a guess mel_b but the hire of cleaner plus the shampoo will be almost as much probably as getting someone to clean it for you. I would give someone a call and get a quote. www.themaxbuild.blogspot.com forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20717&start=300 www.leahspaperpassion.blogspot.com Re: HELP! Need to disinfect a couch! 3Sep 29, 2009 9:50 pm It would be best to get professional help for that from a carpet cleaning company. Re: HELP! Need to disinfect a couch! 4Sep 29, 2009 9:56 pm I would definately ring a professional & ask for advice first. I have a great carpet cleaner everyone we know has used - apparantly the does furniture as well and he comes over to the Western suburbs. I just have to find his number All my paperwork is in shambles as we have moved out while renos are going on - if you don't get anyone else's name, I will get his number tomorrow & send it to you Jazz Life is like a lolly, suck it and see Re: HELP!
