I have 5 louvre windows as part of my facade. 3 are upstairs and 2 are downstairs and all are at the front of the house. I was promised by my builder that they would have keyed locks as per all the other windows. Lo and behold they get delivered today with the frame and no locks on the levers for the them.
Now... I've seen one brand that has locks on the levers for the louvres but the brand that the builder uses- Bradnams doesn't show locks on their website. So if the builder has happened to promise locks without checking with the supplier and therefore can't give them to me are they easy to open from the outside? We had 1940's louvres on our old house that we could open from the outside but I'm wondering if the modern technology of louvres has changed?
I've left a message with my construction manager but until I hear tomorrow the result I'm going to be up all night wondering what would happen if they can't give us locks....
