I am having a Dux Sunpro 315L 3.6Kw boosted solar hot water system installed.
Is this best to be connected to a continuos tariff or to have the booster connected to an off peak night tariff.
Any comments would be really helpful.

The system will only boost half the tank overnight, leaving the rest to heat up via solar collectors during the day. When you Elect meter request goes in, your electrician will need send a work request into AGL (or whoever you want to retail you there) this is called an EWR in VIC and NSW, Form 2 in QLD and Form A in SA. AGL will then forward that onto the distributor. The electrician needs to specify on that request that you want a domestic service with an off peak for hot water. Once it's connected you can have switched from OPK1 and OPK2.
