Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 21, 2009 9:50 pm Hello, Does anyone know if there are rules or guidelines regarding pouring concrete near water taps and meters? We are planning our driveway and realized that the left edge of the driveway may be within 50mm of the water tap and meter. Re: Laying concrete driveway near front water tap 2Sep 22, 2009 7:29 am No reason to worry about that, as far as I know. The only problem would be if the water meter was within the area you wanted to concrete. You might want to consider some sort of raised edging for the border of your garden bed/driveway though, or something placed in between the two (like a letterbox maybe) as a barrier - just to guard against any imprecise driving.... The last thing you want is your water meter being run over. that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 7392 Can a plumber put a tap on a rain water tank which is full? Tank is similar to one in photo. Cheers. 0 1668 Our standard double-glazed window is tested to achieve, Rw 34, and can be glazed to suit Rw 39. The price is good too... 3 9472 |
