Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 16, 2009 8:22 pm Hi All, I'm needing to replace one of my boundary fences soon as it is starting to fall over, and we now have a couple of puppys that will soon be able to find ways out. I'm dreading having to bring it up with the neighbours but thats another story. I've been given 90 sheets of colorbond steel to do the fence with. However the side fence is on a gentle constant slope towards the back of the yard. Are there any pointers for how to go about it? I'm thinking the iron will have to be staggered down the slope, but what about the rails? Stagger them the same, or run them at a constant height for the length of the rail, then drop it down for the next length? I'm thinking about square tubing for the posts and top hat section for the rails. Any pointers would be appreciated. DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair Are you doing this with a building permit? Conversion of a non habitable room into a habitable room requires building permit. 3 17311 Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings. In my opinion you dont need to replace or paint the roof other than treat surface rust… 1 10181 Hi all, Our boundary perimeter fences need replacing (3 sides). From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 2863 |
