Hi,
I am installing a stormwater pit in my property thereby tapping all the roof's catchment of rain water. The stormwater pit will have a sump pump inside it which would pump the rainwater into an above ground rainwater tank (15,000 liters).
I am searching for a level controller that will signal the pump when the tank is full, thereby turning it off - in other words a controller.
The BIG issue I have is that all the controllers I have come accross so far have 125 Volts or 240 Volts A/C as the signal level for the float switch inside the tank - that really sucks
Ideally, the signal to the controller would be a safe voltage of no more than 24V AC/DC and it is this signal that would tell the controller the tank is full. The controller in turn would perform the action of turning off the pump. There is no real need to have 240 volts as the singnalling level !
Has anyone come accross a controller that recieves around 24Volts as the control signal from the rainwater tank ?
