Matches their kitchen splashback though!!! MagicJ I finally have my own reno thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=28335 The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue! If they wanted to stick with neutrals, they could have added some softer, warmer taupes or beiges and still kept it clean and light. Definitely not for me. Re: The Love it, Hate it, Not sure thread. 86Sep 15, 2009 1:26 pm I like it. I think it is missing a nice colourful artwork on the wall on the right but once that was in place I'm pretty comfortable with it. Colourful artwork on the walls, some rugs and bright decretive items would have that room sorted in no time. I was wondering how quickly a monochrome colour scheme would look untidy once everyone's "stuff" filled the space. I reckon a set of car keys, an empty coffee mug and a few newletters from school would stand out like a sore thumb (or dog's balls, to use DH's expression). And, that's just a small fraction of the junk that usually ends up on my kitchen benches! Re: The Love it, Hate it, Not sure thread. 90Sep 15, 2009 7:59 pm It's a nice enough skeleton... and the floors are gorgeous, but it could be made fantastic with the right furnishing and dressing Re: The Love it, Hate it, Not sure thread. 91Sep 15, 2009 9:14 pm I really like the mirror in the kitchen, but definitely not practical for kids. As for the white kitchen, I agree with Michelle and think it would look stunning with some colour thrown in. Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. And that stripey kitchen would drive me insane within a week. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: The Love it, Hate it, Not sure thread. 96Sep 20, 2009 1:20 am that stripey kitchen looks like it's escaped from jail! what a shocker Re: The Love it, Hate it, Not sure thread. 97Sep 20, 2009 2:03 pm Only just found this thread so I have to go back a few pages but I love the letters for letter box - ours street number is 101 so now I cant wait to have a 0NE 0 ONE on our letterbox! Re: The Love it, Hate it, Not sure thread. 98Sep 25, 2009 6:41 am Love it But that would be no surprise to anyone here as my home is a big white space atm. The floors in the picture are just stunning and the room has a fantastic space to add your own personality into it. But then again I love 'good' modern design and big white spaces that can be worked with as you add your own personality into a home. Same for the white kitchen on the previous page. I find living in a white interior that any colour can be introduced and it is actually very calming to have everything looking so 'crisp and clean' (except for the little grubby finger marks on my walls ) I grew up in a house of 'total chaos of clutter' so a stark white interior, high ceilings and beautiful floorboards is my perfect space. Anyone seen the frameless glass bifolds?? Stunning! Love those door handles and concrete floor too. Hi, Apologies - I know there is plenty out there on this but struggling to put together the puzzle.
