Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 28, 2009 5:04 pm I'm always curious and i wonder if anyone can shed some lights... Went to a few display home in Perth, and the building price is relatively lower than what i'm paying in N.E Vic. (where i'm building right now) OF course land prices in Perth are pretty much highway robbery, unless you wanna live 2 hours away from Perth... I'm only talking building contract and not including land. Like for example (and this is not exact $$$) For say X amount of money, you can get a 250sqm house here but for the same X amount of money you can get a 320sqm house in Perth. 80sqm is probably just ONE more room, but thats an extra ROOM nonetheless.... what's up with that??? Re: Building House in different states.. different prices 2Aug 28, 2009 5:41 pm I am sure that the prices in my coles and your coles is different to. It's just the way the world is. Some builders have better specifications than others too. Your builder may have a stone kitchen, or downlights, or more powerpoints, or better quality carpet, or render, or fancier windows, or better taps, which makes it more expensive than perth. Tradie may sit at home but will need to get house plastered as well or will you sit it out? 6 9972 yep you need a joint, foam is easiest, will look fine once rendered with a joint. 2 5241 Hi, have purchased a house with 2 single garage doors. The Centre pillar one side sits proud to the other. Can I change 2 doors into one. Please see picture. 0 6353 |
