Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 05, 2009 9:39 am Hi everyone, I would love some opinions on the colour "hog bristle" as an exterior with an Ironstone roof. We have put in our colour choices but i'm not happy with our render colour. It is called "Sheepskin" by Bristol- and if it looked like it's colour sample it would be fine, but after real life samples it has dried with a slight green tinge to it. I'm worried this will look funny with the blue tinge in the roof! We are looking for a neutral colour that doesn't have a tinge of green, yellow or pink! Someone has recommended Hogbristle as a colour. Has anyone got any photos of this colour as an exterior? And do you think it would match with our Ironstone colourbond roof? Thanks, Holly Re: Ironstone and Hog Bristle? 2Aug 05, 2009 11:32 am Hi, Cant help with a pic of these colours but we are also doing an Ironstone roof and debated with many different render colours. We have decided on Ironstone with Dune (the same as colourbond Dune). Have seen a house done in this (search for Megzy's Metricon on the forum, it's what they have), and really liked it. I bought some cheap MDF board and some sample pots in the different colours we were considering, then painted the boards, took them to our block and stood back to see what I liked and how the colours would throw. It's so hard to choose hoping it's not too pink/yellow/green etc. Hope you find what you are after. Building the Pl@ntation Retreat on 4009m2. All moved in!!!!!!
