Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 23, 2009 4:36 pm Hi everyone Just got my soil report today and one of the 1st paragraphs says this: The site is located in a new residential estate. Over the approximate area of the proposed building the site falls up to 400mm. It should be noted that as shallow rock exists at the site, if any deep excavations are planned, light blasting or rock breaking equipment may be required. Am I likely to need "deep excavations" for a normal house build??? I'm really stressing over this, my budget is a breaking point and I don't know what to do Deposits paid 29/4/09 Land settlement 12/08/09 Build contract signed 24/08/09 Colours done 28/09/09 BLOG-http://www.eljaysbuild.blogspot.com/ Re: Oh no!
