Yes they pass the normal building regs etc and are better in a bushfire situation than normal bricks. Next up the "Eco heat panels" Ed these get damn hot, but the guy said don't use them for open areas - as they are only good for bedrooms and bathrooms etc or the running and purchase costs get too high. Next up saw some "smart grass" Plastic grass - not bad for what it was. Rubbed backed, put it down with some sand to hold it down and it stays green foreever. It's not for me but maybe for others. The sun lizrard was pretty good, as was the hydrogen boosted car. LED Lights featured, as did skylights, and lots of solar options and the costs varied big time - so do your research But I reckon the best and most unique product of all was the recycled carboard coffins. You can buy your own coffin made from recycled cardboard for $400. He makes white ones and timber lookalike ones, but he said he mostly sells white ones and people are getting their family and friends to write things or paint painting on it before they get boxed up for good. As for the eaves, well they just didn't feature at the show. Wish they did though, because it rained while I was out and my windows got wet and dirty again!!! All because they do not have eaves protecting them. ![]() Cheers Steve Wow I hadn't realised things had gotten that pricey in just a couple of years since I built, that is crazy with how much land is now costing if you aren't lucky enough to… 3 3987 Hi, I'm looking for opinions and advice on living room windows.
