Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 19, 2009 8:32 pm Can any one help? I live in the Penrith area in a tiny house and considering building up as I would like to keep a back yard... But based on different forums people pay around the $200k mark... i would love to add three bedrooms with an ensuite in master and open up the downstairs area... I know it is hard to estimate costs as it does depend on the sqm of the house but has anyone out there built up before and what have you paid... Unfortuntely I don't have the option of knock down and rebuild because I have spent so much already on the inside of the house... Agghhh, any advice..... Re: Building Up... 2Jul 20, 2009 12:12 pm Based on the initial costings of expanding our single level victorian terrace to include an upstairs level I would suggest you wouldn't get away with anything for under $300k (if you're including bathrooms, laundry and kitchen at high spec). $200k would probably be about right if you exclude these items.
