I'm thinking of having an outdoor covered area off the dining area. The dining faces north, and I can see some gum trees from the living area. Like http://www.ozsun.com.au/assets/Gallery/ ... orised.jpg Will they be v trouble to open( manual one) and maintain ( the fabric). We seldom hold parties. When rain, will the ppl under the awning feel uncomfortable? Also, I was told as they are foldable, they don't need building permit, right? Or other choices as verandah could be far much better?
