Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 08, 2009 1:15 pm Hi, I have lost the contact phone number for Dandy Air (Carlisle Homes build) and can't find them in whitepages online. Does anyone have the contact number for Dandy Air as our heater isn't working properly - not pumping out enough hot air! Thanks, Dale. Re: Dandy air contact phone number 2Jul 08, 2009 2:24 pm Hi, Now have the number thanks. Dandy Air said to log a warranty fault with Brivis. Have now done that. Only down side is that if it turns out to be an installation problem then Brivis charges a $197 service fee. But taking 4 hours to get the house to 21 degrees seems a lot too long. Dale. I called Dandy Air and let them know as Brivis couldn't get anybody out for a week and wanted to give them an opportunity to decide whether they wanted to come out and check the installation. They said if Brivis found it was an installation problem then they would reimburse me the call out fee from Brivis. As an aside, Brivis sent out a different company to check the fault so not sure whether that was because they only do Melbourne or whether the whole service division is outsourced. They also said if it was an installation problem then they would not fix it and I would have to then get Dandy Air back out. Would have been a long wait to go through all this logging calls with different companies so luck it turned out it was a fault with the unit. Re: Dandy air contact phone number 6Jul 20, 2009 8:45 pm That sounds wrong. Be interested to see the result. We have the same kind of (if not slightly better) result as wotdah for heating. On a side note we had Brivis out a couple of weeks back and the technician could not believe how poor our install was and how wrong our unit had been set up. We asked about the fan speed and he fixed it straight away. Apparently because of the installation method the fan had to be turned down to stop rattling etc and with a couple of tweaks he turned the fan up to full and it is dead set 2 times more airflow! Don't get me started on Dandy Air...just another reason for me not to recommend them We are at the stage on our build in Kilcoy, Queensland where we need to get our fencing installed but we cant get any contact details for our neighbours to give them… 0 6160 How do you remove one of these ceiling air con vents? And is it possible to disconnect the duct joined to the vent from inside the house, without going into the roof cavity? 0 5944 Hi all, sorting out the ducted air con for a 350sqm double story house.
