Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Same light switch plates for whole house 21Jun 03, 2014 10:24 am Sorry to bring up and old topic...but we are looking at getting Clipsal Saturn light switches in our house. People mentione cbus vs non-cbus....what is the difference? Also, a lot of the pictures I see of the saturn switches don't have words on the buttons (i.e. kitchen, living, meals etc). To get the words on the button is it extra or a different version? Re: Same light switch plates for whole house 23Jun 05, 2014 9:33 pm Cbus switches can be programed to glow/not-glow, etc. by the cbus system. Non-cbus switches are not programmable. (I think). As for the words, I think they are extras, or ordered separately and switched out with the default 'plain' button. At least one website I found that sets them sells the word-buttons separately. I don't know if they're user-changable or not. Land settled May '14. Building the PD Hoffman39: 5/11=site start, 13/11=slab pour, 26/11=frame complete, 10/12=roof on, 12/12=bricking started. So something !like you can link in a daylight sensor and they only glow when its dark, and they change colour after midnight. The others glow, but whether they glow with the lights on or off is fixed at install. Confusing, right? Land settled May '14.
