I just pulled a ten foot, possiby bigger...bl**dy huge trampoline off my back fence, it looks like it blew out of the yard of a house across the street behind mine across a couple of vacant lots and luckily got caught on the corner of my fence before it was able to blow over and smash into my back windows. I luckily had some visitors and they helped me get it off and I was able to unscrew the remaining posts of the netting so I could lay it flat and weight it down with an old tyre ****** around and a big chunk of concrete.
I followed the trail of broken off bits to the house, it's the only one with a bunch of kids nearby, but they're not home, left a note tied to the tramp. Should I be expecting them to foot the at least couple hundred $$ bill for fixing my fence? or will I have to claim through my insurance? Which I wouldn't because it would be less than my excess....Would they probably say well that is your problem, that is what your insurance is for. So am I going to have to fork out because they were too stoooopid to peg down their wind trap of a trampoline?
