Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 22, 2009 10:18 pm Hey guys, The plans are in from the father in law and the engineering is being done as we speak. I would like to know your thoughts on the plans and ideas that may be incorporated into what has been proposed. Just about to start quoting the whole lot and will be budgeting on 40k(probably a little cheap, but will try.)
Any suggestions are welcome. General rule for extensions is $2000 - $2500 per sqm. As you are elevated this may well increase. The basic size is 9.2 x 7.1. cant wait to get it started and budgeting on 650-700/m2 for materials. And will be becoming a member of trade builders which is a buying group for trades. Re: The Plans Are In, 7Jul 07, 2009 6:56 pm i would steer clear of the frameless ...........the glass panels can end up not being flat (have an ugly bow in the middle) and the company i used wouldn't do anything about it. so at the least be careful if you do go frameless. 6 11528 Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms? Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6882 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13745 |
