Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 22, 2009 2:59 pm Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with using mini corrugated iron for exterior wall cladding? I have recently purchased a weatherboard house and plan to use corrugated iron to convert the look of the house. If anyone has any tips with corrugated iron wall cladding your input is appreciated. A few things i wish to find out are: - How long would the cladding last? - Is rust likely to occur? - What is the process involved, do weatherboards require to be removed? - What would the cost involved be with a project like this? I also plan to change the roof to a flat roof design in the future but will wait and see on quotes before proceeding with this as i would suspect it to be a costly exercise. Looks fantastic - stays pretty clean. They live on the water - but no rust problems so far (I think it's been about 5 years) They put it on a new house - but if you've already got weatherboard - I'd say it would have to be removed and then the mini orb applied to the frame. I have no idea on cost either - sorry! After 4 years - we're in!
