Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 20, 2009 7:46 pm For all the display home junkies like me..... I popped down to see 3 new PD Lifestyle plans today. I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the floorplans. They are: Camberwell 29 (looks like a reworking of the Cottlesloe but with a butler's pantry, walk in linen, mud and laundry off the garage and theatre instead of lounge.... big improvements) Forestdale 29 (a kid's play room with the minor bedrooms) Wembley 35 (upstairs similar to Cremorne but with an ensuite option to bed 2, and a guest room option to the lounge downstairs) They are up on the website. The Bardot will be gone soon and the Dromana not far behind apparently. For Prestige... Bridgeport and Brampton will be gone in around a week or so and the Inspiration and Hamilton will be gone soon so there might be some new Prestige designs on the way as well. These are at Arena at Officer.... Clarendon are open, M3tricon look like they are still a while away. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: New PD Lifestyle designs for the display home tragics 4Jun 20, 2009 8:25 pm pretty slopey jo, come on! BTW, that camberwell is probably the best design I've seen from PD - lovin it! Is it on display somewhere - I must go see that one! A thankful person is a happy person. Yeah, on paper I thought I'd like the Forestdale better, but the Camberwell is great. One interesting thing is tha mount of storage. Walk in linen in the Camberwell and big wall of three cupboards in the Forestdale. Storage... or lack of it.... is a big bugbear of mine in all display homes. This is an improvement and there's lots of places to add more. I think these 3 designs might be big winners for them. The Camberwell I just loved. It sort of addressed all my bug bears with the Cottesloe design. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. (OMG officer, that's miles away from me!!!) haha A thankful person is a happy person. I'm too clumsy to negotiate open doors in the walkway! The ensuite in nicer with the hidden away toilet (easy to enclose with it's own door by adding a wall to the shower), the WIL, I love mud rooms where the garage can open into there rather than the hallway. Lots to like about it. Well worth the drive Annie. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: New PD Lifestyle designs for the display home tragics 8Jun 20, 2009 8:56 pm I notice there are no alfrescos on any of them so it would be quite costly to add one, perhaps they have done that on purpose? Re: New PD Lifestyle designs for the display home tragics 9Jun 20, 2009 9:04 pm A lot of the Lifestyle don't have an alfreso as standard, nice money earner . The interesting thing is, the two storey didn't have one on display. It has a pergola with laserlight and that brush stuff (technical term ) rather than an alfresco at the rear. The Camberwell had a small one off the family room but it doesn't extend out off the rumpus. The Forestdale had an alfresco on the side and also a pergola at the rear off the rumpus. So...... pergolas are back!!!! Not soooo 1993 anymore! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself.
