Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 20, 2009 12:10 pm Hi all, I have just purchased a weatherboard house which has no garage but has the slab already for a reasonably wide single garage. I need to arrange for a garage to be built ASAP and was wondering if anyone could provide any advice on the following: - Should I go colourbond steel or weatherboard to match the house? - What are the estimated costs of each style? - What are the estimated costs on auto roller door? Thanks heaps. Re: Garage Advice 2Jun 20, 2009 1:25 pm You could do a few searches on kit garages, from memory around 2 grand. A few secound hand pop up on ebay from time to time and go for about 1 grand. However I would prefer to match the garage to the house with weatherboards. Might be possible to get a price on a kit without the colourbond and do the boards yourself. Have looked at a few homes for IP's which have been brick with colourbond garage added later and they make the whole house look cheap. (my option). Put this in your ebay watchlist.see what it finally goes for. See if it makes me look like an idiot from my figures quoted above. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Large-Garden-She ... 1|294%3A50 Hi, Apologies - I know there is plenty out there on this but struggling to put together the puzzle.
