On the air conditioning theory, if they think it's the pressure, well when you have the aircon on and not enough doors / windows open I believe it's inside the house that gets pressurized, not in the roof, so in theory the air con may have been helping hold the ceiling up!! Like every one else here I am curious which builder it was. She has had her home for about 4 years and she had the builder come back and fix it. They tried to avoid fixing it initially,and tried to blame it on her cleaning products.
