They'll probably not have a lot of change from $250k, and they got several quotes. thlo That is steep! Isn't it supposed to be more like $2000 per square metre? I think Im quite clever now as I have added photos Yes the design we wanted was for a rural area so I think it is all falling into place.... Our block is 1198sqm so we wont really have much yard but that suits us... We went with the Banksia facade having half brick on the bottom and BP finish on top. So how are your plans going? Sorry I havent really been catching up on all the info as I have been to busy learning how to do this blog. Hi Steff, I just checked out your blog...it's looking good & I must say you are much cleverer than me .Don't forget to add it to the building blog list on this site.I love your facade it's the one I would have chosen for that house. That's a good size block you have nearly 3 times bigger than ours!! We have our frames up & windows in just waiting for the brickies to start now.We are loving the fast progress of our build & hope it continues! Building soon in Rouse Hill Area in NSW . Still on the process of shortlisting project home builders and looking at the option to build with private builder as well . Any suggestions please??? Blacktown has changed a lot from what it used to be. It has many good residential developments nowadays like Newbury in Stanhope Gardens, Kellyville Ridge, The Ponds, Stonecutters Ridge and a few more. New good schools and other business establishments are emerging as well creating more jobs for everyone. So Carmel, it's worth mentioning Blacktown now to start erasing the bad press people had created long time ago.
