I have hit a road block with my new home building as i have been asked to get dispensation for building on the boundary!!! The builder is showing me the contact and saying its my reponsibility (fair enough) and the person adjoining to me is not very co-operative and is least bothered as it is not his problem. The garage wall that i am building is a little over 3 meters its not an awful lot but my celings are 9ft. Do you guys think i should ask the builder to redraw the plan and have the garage height re-done at 3m's .. Any of u guys done that on a home with 9ft ceilings. Thanks..... We maybe encountering a similar problem with our place as we want to place our pool up against the fenceline as well due to lack of space in our yard as it's a small small yard. Speaking of small, I'm 6'4 and I have never had a place with 2.7 ft ceilings. I reckon even if your a midget you will have trouble fitting under your ceilings. Lol I'm sorry I just had to bite on that one. Me male. Me could'nt help myself. Lol Cheers Roger Re: Dispensation required for building garage wall on boundary 3Jun 01, 2009 3:28 pm lol thanks for correcting me roger.. defintiely not a midget ...... I guess my level of stress shows on the post!!!!!! Its 9 ft celing .. and not 2.7 thanks Chippy, i hope they have applied sealer but i am doubt to be honest, so i am gonna do this job after handover. 8 11919 You should be able to encase the sewer but you will need it designed and approved and access to lot 580 to do the work 2 12663 In WA zero lot is actually zero lot. We build 10mm in from the boundary. My house and my neighbours house have garages that sit only 20mm apart. When I had our roof done… 3 5508 |
