Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 28, 2009 11:58 am Hi All, I have purchased a new dining table of a website, which sells replica products, and slightly expensive. The table had a slight dint on a corner of it, which the company wont replace as I didn't open and check it within 7 days. So I am left with a $1K+ dining table only which is useless. But I would like to sand the dint out and restain it in a chocolate color. Details of the table are - Base made of massive cherrywood, Top veneered. I have attached the original photo from the w/site and the dint also. SOS! help. I recently bought some secondhand furniture and the coffee table top is marked. I have been quoted $50 to have it sanded and re-stained/polished by a furniture restoring company. I couldn't do it for much cheaper myself and at least this way I know I am getting a professional job. Use google to search for them.
