I have stopped there every day after work.. I love them... (I can go in and get my stuff and not have to talk to anyone)... The town centre was one of the main reasons why we chose laurimar.. going to be so handy to have a town centre only 500m away.. Re: Woolworths Laurimer opening next month!!! 23May 27, 2009 8:20 pm "Day spa" is just a fancy-pants name for a beauty salon. They all call themselves that nowadays. Put in an oil burner and some sort of funky wall feature with water trickling down it and you're set. I tell everyone I'm off to the day spa. La-di-da! .....I don't mention that it's upstairs at the chemist. Or that I'm just getting my legs waxed or a couple of layers of crusty skin scraped off my face. It sounds glamorous anyway. Sounds like the perfect mix of shops to me. Erin, you can always tootle across to the Mernda pub if you're desperate. They do a parma and a pot special.... Never been there myself. Re: Woolworths Laurimer opening next month!!! 27May 27, 2009 9:16 pm Cleishy Donnybrook pub is the best!!!! HUGE steaks!!! 900grams. I'll take that as a challenge and I accept it Cleishy! Need to psych myself up for this one... Re: Woolworths Laurimer opening next month!!! 28May 27, 2009 9:22 pm Ari aaron4erin It is a bit odd... I was just happy to see Chocolaterie That's a strange one too. How on earth will they make enough money in a laurimar. Dont worry about that, I'll keep them in business Re: Woolworths Laurimer opening next month!!! 29May 27, 2009 9:28 pm aaron4erin Cleishy Donnybrook pub is the best!!!! HUGE steaks!!! 900grams. After all this is the look these days for the metro sexual males and North Supporters!! I can see this taking off in the area. Kek I too use the day spa you do for pedicures and it is very posh to say to ones colleagues and friends that I'm off to a Day Spa. we are selling and moving to the coast, if you know someone who wishes to buy in Mernda Villages, please visit this link http://www.realestate.com.au/property-h ... -107083288 Re: Woolworths Laurimer opening next month!!! 31May 27, 2009 10:08 pm lisanne aaron4erin Cleishy Donnybrook pub is the best!!!! I had to do two in two nights a few weeks back. The second night was harder than the first. They also have a triple bi-pass burger which is HUGE also, I haven't tried yet, but will have to soon I think. I'm heading to Mrs Parmas in little Burke street in the city in a few weeks times. Only eating half? That is incredibly soft... you didn't waste valuable space on chips and veggies did you? Cleishy - I'd like to see you go 3 nights in a row at Donnybrook pub Re: Woolworths Laurimer opening next month!!! 37May 27, 2009 10:26 pm Ari No surprise you're soft. You take after the roos. Re: Woolworths Laurimer opening next month!!! 38May 27, 2009 10:33 pm Went to Mrs Parmas last friday, wasn't that impressed by the Parma. It was good but I think my hopes were too high. The beer is great there though. 3 nights in a row is pushing it, i'll stick to one every now and then I think. I love the skill tester machine there too. It's the only machine where I can put about $4 in and come home with 20 -30 chocolate bars. Nothing wrong with the Roos either.... they are the only team the Tigers have been able to beat this year.
