Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 26, 2007 11:38 pm Did some research of my own and found quite a number of contractors/companies that do fencing and driveway/concreting. Am obviously going to contact a few and get some quotes etc. But...
Can anyone recommend any that service the western suburbs of Melbourne? Also, what's a good ballpark figure for fencing - timber paling, capped with post exposed to both sides - which I'm guessing is priced per metre? I know we have a thread somewhere about prices per m2 for driveways so I won't ask that again. However I will ask - are companies that do driveways the same people that do/modify crossovers? Or would I be better of looking for someone who specialies in those kinds of things. That's if they exist. [sneakersss] Re: Recommendations for Fencing/Driveway Contractors (MELB) 2Apr 27, 2007 8:09 am We've just been through the business of getting fencing quotes. For paling fence, capped and exposed post all quotes came in around the $50 per metre mark.
It all sounded quite reasonable (especially when you can split it 50/50 with your neighbours) but unfortunately we only have 1 side that can be split!! Just starting to learn the joys of 'extras' after the house is built ) Amber http://www.ourdreamhouse.blogspot.com Need to remove glass panel out of concrete without wrecking the glass to get the spa room in, any recommendations on how to do that. Thank you 0 39046 We are at the stage on our build in Kilcoy, Queensland where we need to get our fencing installed but we cant get any contact details for our neighbours to give them… 0 6160 Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms? Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6885 |
