We just purchased a block of land and are in early stages of design. We are very keen on building a federation design house and would like to purchase a book with lots of pictures and details on federation buildings. If you a good one could you please respond with name and author If anyone could refer builders/websites/designes who have experience with these designs in Melbourne it would also be greatly appreciated. We originally look at a colonial type of house and one website i found was www.hawsburyvalleyhomes.com.au. They only provide plans they do not build you can look ant all of their plans on thier website and then discuss your ideas they are happy to make changes or develop a concept from scratch with u. They have no photos of any homes build based on thier plans as they are only focused on designs the houses (drawings) look absoultley beautiful though. good luck denyi lol. usually a builder knocks up a generic plan to get the approvals and then leaves it for you to sort out.
