Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 18, 2009 5:06 pm Hi All, I am hoping someone can provide some good advice, around 18 months ago we moved into our new PD home. During this time there were many defects identified that required a particular upstairs area of carpet to be removed and relaid for repairs to take place. The final repair is coming up and PD will now be lifting, restretching and relaying the carpet for the third time (not including the first time it was laid). My question is how many times can carpet be realistically be relaid, I understand there are many variables, however, I would like to get some thoughts on this. I am almost thinking of challenging PD to pay for new carpet as the defects should have been resolved prior to settlement. Any Thoughts? Many Thanks Cutta Re: Carpet Re-stretching, How many times?? 2May 29, 2009 8:27 pm You might need to move this question to the Home Decorating Section in the Flooring and Floors section. You may get a better response perhaps. www.themaxbuild.blogspot.com forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20717&start=300 www.leahspaperpassion.blogspot.com Hi Minho I have heaps of experience in Ku-ring-gai with both DAs and CDC ( this is the main area we build in).
