Do they have their own coloured peg?? Or should their be a mark on the subdivision plans (I think thats what they are called) in my land contract?? I just have this gut feeling I'm going to have one right out the front of my place. The last 2 places I've lived in, I have and I hated it!! If you don't have a copy, ask the developer for one. Re: Street lights on plan of subdivision?? 3May 12, 2009 8:08 pm I can see the diagrams on the devine website, but I can't see anything that looks like street lights. It has the sewer lines, driveways etc on it...but street lights?? *shrug* I'll give the land sales guy a call tomorrow. Looks like I'm the only one on my stretch of the street that is sharing a driveway too I hate sharing Deposits paid 29/4/09 Land settlement 12/08/09 Build contract signed 24/08/09 Colours done 28/09/09 BLOG-http://www.eljaysbuild.blogspot.com/ Re: Street lights on plan of subdivision?? 4May 12, 2009 10:59 pm Just a hint on streetlights, but it is by no means a definitive answer! If you live in a relatively short, curved street, chances are the streetlights will be on the side of the street on the inside of the curve, because it will require less lights/cable etc for the given distance of the street. We've got one at the front of our place and it's not a hassle at all (although we all have free choice of where our driveways and crossovers are around here), the light is not overly intrusive and surely provides some security.
