Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 11, 2009 4:49 pm This is one of the most amusing things I have heard if it didnt have a serious side About 4 weeks ago I decided to get my house roof renovated including all the pointing reset. A employee of the company came out and water blasted the roof, and half way thru my wife noticed that there was water coming from the ceiling in several areas. She immediately advised the worker and showed him the problem. She advised him to stop work for the day as we didnt want any further damage to the gyprock. The next day we got the GM of the company out so he could survey the damaged areas. He said he would get back to us with a solution. Well it has been 3 weeks and although we have tried to contact them on several occasions we still have not got an answer. Well today I finally got on to the GM of the company who advised me he thought we were trying to conn him and wait for this " he was going to get the CSIRO out to our property to see if the water damage was caused by his water. " I tried to explain to him that before he started there was no damage and it wasnt raining so where do you think the water came from? With this he just hung up in my ear. With this I am out $500 deposit and he will not return my money as I want to use this to fix the gyprock. Has anyone else every had this problem? I now Fair Trading is the next step but what else after that? Would love to name the company but this isnt the right forum. Hi I bought an old cupboard that is in desperate need of some TLC.
