Im glad I was just passing by as I would have been really P'd off if I made the trip just to go. Really they could at least give the sofa's clean before hand. I think they just made up the before price. But on another note, I just happened to go past another place today, I think it was called Davenport Furnishings or something and they had some really nice things and at a fair price. It was on Middleborough Rd next to bunnings... worth a look if you are passing by. We were going to go but thought we would wait and see what everyone here said before we went and now I'm glad we didn't bother Re: Coco Republic Property Styling Warehouse Sale 45May 18, 2009 4:58 pm rowan I seriously wouldn't bother to go there I was there at 9am opening -was out of there in 5 minutes. Most of it was rubbish odds and ends - wasn't much there anyway and anything that was anywhere near acceptable- desirable - interesting -was grossly overpriced and represented little value. People who were buying there today were paying no less than you could get quality furniture from elsewhere in fact they were probably paying more under the guise they were saving "huge" dollars. It really annoys me when companies pull these " wharehouse sales" and most of it is crap or still overpriced normal stock. Hey Rowan it's spelt warehouse. I must admit I would expect better from a dedicated school teacher like yourself! I must agree that Coco Republic product is overpriced and VERY average in terms of design and comfort. Re: Coco Republic Property Styling Warehouse Sale 46May 18, 2009 10:03 pm Hi Matt Welcome to the forum Matt my boy - good to see you agree with me regards the Coco furniture. Wouldn't be surprised if it also "snapped crackled and popped" when you took it home as some of that furniture there looked like it had been used by Fat Albert and the Cosby kids in their junk yard play area. Some of the furniture had more stains dare I say it than your underpants young Matt !!! I really get annoyed when these companies offer up total rubbish yet still expect top dollar - even more sad when people actually buy it under the pretence they are getting a bargain.
