Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 04, 2009 8:18 pm My partner and I bought a house from an owner builder that whilst appearing finished to the naked eye, had not had its final building inspection. The house is on five acres with mountain views and the right price was being asked for an unfinished house so we decided to buy. We have no regrets the place is great. Three years on we have finished the place but have done nothing about getting a final. We have lost contact with the previous owner and have no paperwork regarding the approval process to date and really no idea of the next steps. Can anyone provide some advice?
