Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 29, 2009 11:07 pm Hi All, We took down our old patio structure on the weekend. It was my first go at using my angle grinder. It all went OK, but the following day, I noticed some large windows that were very close to where we were grinding are now slightly pitted. If you run your hand over them, they are all rough and they just look slightly scuffed. This was caused by the constant barrage of sparks from the grinder. Is there some sort of rubbing compound that can be used on the glass that might restore the window (or at least lessen the damage)? Thanks, Chris Re: Can my windows be repaired? 2Apr 29, 2009 11:51 pm hey chris try a windscreen place they have something to get rid of sandblasting on windscreens so maybe stay safe happy building Re: Can my windows be repaired? 3Apr 30, 2009 6:04 am Someone like O'Brien should be able to tell you what your options are. We are still doing some more work around that area, so once it is all done, I will take a closer look at the windows and see what we can do. Thanks for all the suggestions.
