Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 29, 2009 12:13 am Hi all, Can anyone explain the steps/processes in moving a timber frame home or direct me to a thread on the forum that explains it? We are currently in the process of seeking approval from council to have our timber frame home demolished so we can build on the land, but we have a person interested in taking the home to their own 50 acre block. We are more than happy to let them just have the house (saving us demolishing fees) but are unsure of things like electricity and gas disconnection and how that works for removal of the house and what other costs may occur along the way. The person who is interested owns their own trucks and is able to transport the house themselves, and we have already said it will be at their cost (its just the house that is free). Are there things we should be aware of or things we absolutely must or must not do? Thanks in advance for your advice. You can not hang anything on steel frames. very frustrating 8 5344 Thanks Pulse, thats really helpful and very much appreciated.
