Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 28, 2009 10:42 am Does anybody know about solarbank? How does it work? Is that like solar hot water supplier plus rain water tanks? Now Simonds can set up the solarbank system for free and Burbank provide 7 star energy rating collection. It is hard to select a builder from them. Any recommendation? Re: solarbank or 7 star energy rating? 2May 11, 2009 1:26 pm I'm building with Simonds. It's really not free.. you pay for the GST ($800) and hooking up to the meter or something like that. There are also additional regional charges (depending where you live) and you may have to pay $750 extra if you don't have a suitable W, NW, N, NE or E facing roof of sufficient size. Also, you must pay a $1,599 deposit which they will repay any remaining balance. There is a rainwater tank involved somewhere in this process. Scan below. Oh but this offer finished 25th April!! attachment=0]solarbank.gif[/attachment] As far as Burbank, I don't know anything about their offer.
