This might seem like a stupid question, but...
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a garage that is made with wood (wood frame with brick on the outside and plasterboard on the inside) and a garage that is made entirely of brick? I don't mean a detached garage either.
They are building our house in the latter option. And my parents house has a garage that is made of brick, too. But that was a later addition so I understand why that happened. But today I saw a few houses where their garage was made using wood frame. Why would one pick one over the other? I assumed the wood option would be the better option because the inside will be lined with plasterboard. Then you don't get that whole 'brick overdose' feel.
But, what do I know?
