Thanks, -----Belive nothing ya hear and only half of what ya see----- Re: How many Stormwater pits should one have? 2Apr 22, 2009 4:12 pm We are renting a new place and it has two pits. We luckily managed to get away with redirecting our overflow to the drain which runs along side our property otherwise we would have also had to have a few pits. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: How many Stormwater pits should one have? 3Apr 22, 2009 4:25 pm Arghhh i was afraid of that! I don't really like the look of two large pits taking up my backyard - both are at each rear end of the land, so if i want a garage or shed id have to bring the space forward. sux big time! I don't understand why the heck they didn't place one of the pits on the neigbours property, I couldn't see one on their land. I`ll have a look tonight. Thanks, -----Belive nothing ya hear and only half of what ya see----- Re: How many Stormwater pits should one have? 6Apr 22, 2009 7:15 pm we have one stormwater drain in our back corner, and the back 4m from the boundary is drainage easement so i cant build my shed right in the corner, very sucky Blog - http://snakedr.blogspot.com/ Build Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=12084&p=307406#p307406 Status - PCI 15/10. A stormwater pit is a rubble pit of at least a cubic metre, which you can't place on your neighbours property! Electrical Engineer... Don't hold that against me... And keen owner builder... Re: How many Stormwater pits should one have? 8Apr 22, 2009 9:54 pm Just had a look at my contract of land sale, and for some silly reason the page that may show the easement and what is attached on my land is very tiny to workout what the hell are they placing in both corners. but i can be certain that i have physically seen two SVC pits with green colour lids shaped in a rectangle. grrrr -----Belive nothing ya hear and only half of what ya see----- Hi All, I just wanted to close this topic out with an update.
