Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 19, 2009 10:17 pm Hi, I am wondering how common it is for renovators to file a delapodation report with their neighbours on adjoining buildings, especially a semi detached. The building act states it is a 'must, but it seems it is not such a common practice. Do people usually do this? Thank you. Lizzie J Re: Delapodation reports 2Apr 19, 2009 10:32 pm We had to submit a dilapidation report to Council. It was concerned with certain areas, like the nature strip, crossover, any council-owned things. I just submitted a pile of very detailed photos and this was fine with them. Judie Re: does everyone do Delapodation reports 4Apr 21, 2009 4:37 pm This is absolutely no use whatsoever, but I have to type dilap reports as part of my job. BORRRRING! lol How the hell did I become a senior member!? I know nothing! It is true that a builder can ignore your independent inspection report as it is not part of the contractual arrangement but that is stupid because he cannot avoid fixing… 9 47027 4 7370 I've just built 3 stairs off a landing out the back and been told by the private certifier I need hand rails sorry tried to attach a pic but couldn't mine don't have sides… 5 5829 |
