Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 19, 2009 9:17 pm Before I begin I need to say a big thankyou to Phoenix who found this for me on ebay! Late Friday night I got an email from her saying there was one of the tables she has (in her house) on ebay that I have been looking for and that she had contacted the seller on my behalf. I emailed the seller on Saturday and after a quick phone call I bought the table. I collected it last night Because the wall is 6 metres long I needed to get a table that was around 2 metres long and IKEA used to make one called the Malm that was about this length. Around the time that I wanted one, they stopped bringing them in so up until this point I have been looking, but to no avail...until now! Re: My new hallway table... 7Apr 19, 2009 9:52 pm Congrat's Matt! I knew it would look great and match in well with your lounge furniture etc!!!! Was it a good surprise for the Mrs??? I hope so..... I really looks great in the hallway. I think you'll need something tall and light in colour, maybe cream/ivory or even silver?? Perhaps a couple of complimentary vases that vary in shape? Or perhaps a looooong mirror overhead, or a series of them.... If i see something that might suit, i'll let you know..... So glad you have found what you wanted and i was happy to help. So now you'll stop trying to get me to sell mine! Re: My new hallway table... 8Apr 19, 2009 9:55 pm gee matt, that is one very impressive hallway. I like it!!! Katie wanted clear glass too. Glad I talked her out of that! Re: My new hallway table... 17Apr 21, 2009 9:12 pm Oh and what I actually was going to say is ..... I saw some really cool wall things at Freedom. Like a big branch with leaves, but each leaf is actually a little mirror. Might work for your wall? Those tables are great and it looks perfect for the space! I didn't know they have been deleted! On the doors, we will have a curved hallway so you can't really see to the living areas. Plus we're in a court in Wallan.... doubt we'll get many door knockers! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself.
