Yes, that is what we were told also - by the people that issued the warranty. Everyone else seems to say 'use your builders warranty' but the issuer of the warranty said above. Very weird - why bother having it then. We have similar/shower base issues. We have just sent off a formal complaint to the plumbing industry commission (because apparently it is the plumber that has to sign off on this, not the builder - although in this instance, we don't know who the plumber is and suspect it may not have even been carried out by a reg. plumber).... but anyway, will see what they say and hopefully they will follow it up on our behalf - and ultimately, hopefully order it to be fixed.
