Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 14, 2009 9:09 pm Quite a few months ago I was admiring pics of some wooden artwork that had been posted on the forum, some of you might remember them from this thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10451&hilit=wood+carving Well I am pleased to announce that with some help from the lovely Clarity and her DH, I finally have the Tree of Life hanging on my wall. It is an early birthday present from my DH (thanks lamingtons ) Here are a couple of pics - can't find the downloader cable for the good camera so they are just pics from my phone. The first pic is taken in daylight so the light is better, but I hadn't yet moved the couch back to its normal position. The second pic I have just taken (but you'll have to ignore the messy playroom in the background ) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Clarity's DH has a gorgeous shop in Sydney called Inspire Furniture http://www.inspirefurniture.com.au/ who I am happy to give a quick plug to. They arranged everything including the shipping for a much better price than I could have got in Melbourne, IF I had even been able to find it here! So a BIG thank you to Clarity and her DH, we are very happy with our purchase. I also love the whole tree/woodland theme that is very popular at the moment, and I'm planning a canvas for my Daughters new bedroom focused on the same tree through the seasons. It will be a five piece, not three, but I will do a triptych for my Son...at some stage! It looks fantastic!! Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... I love my house!! Really nice colours. I agree I like the idea of 3 pictures in a row that connect, we have bright green canvas prints in our current house that do the same thing, they are above our dining table and are a real feature.
