Thanks in advance. Re: Colorbond Cedar garage doors photos required please. 2Apr 02, 2009 11:13 pm hey there, I've got heaps from when I drove around our estate and took pics of anyone with a timber door, but I'm not really happy to post them all in the thread here, perhaps you could PM with your email address and I'll send them to you by email direct. Cheers, Annie A thankful person is a happy person. IMO that one looks much better than the orangy looking one. ICK So glad the building is over, never again. Loooove our house, but still not quite sure it was worth all of the stress they put us through! Re: Colorbond Cedar garage doors photos required please. 4Apr 03, 2009 8:37 am I think this is the Timbergrain Caoba look... but i'm not 100% sure and it's not my house, just a picture i found when looking for 'caoba' It may be a h1 members door.. I think? We are getting our garage door through PD, but its called a 'Timbergrain Caoba' color and I'm not really sure if it's colobond.. Can you tell I'm confused? Re: Colorbond Cedar garage doors photos required please. 6Apr 03, 2009 9:56 am Annie ....pm sent Ick.....I beleive the Caoba is the darker of the 2 from what the website is saying anyway. erinleigh.....that is a great pic and found that one also.....I think I am liking this colour over the cedar classic but I can't find a pic of it where I know for sure its classic cedar or another brand....thanks for looking Ari.....you are right its now the other way around and I did get confused at first............. My thoughts have been to go with the darker but I wanted to specifically see these 2 colours next to wall colours.....I think the colour of the timber look, looks different depending on what colour render or bricks its next to. I was hoping to see a couple and decide from their rather than driving up to the display homes and asking the individual sales rep. The 1st place I went to was very unhelpful as he couldn't remember the external colours....like he was trying to keep it a secret. I bet if a client of his asked he would have remembered it. Re: Colorbond Cedar garage doors photos required please. 7Apr 03, 2009 4:20 pm Hi, here's a suggestion. We are having a timber look garage door too. I rang the supplier and asked if they had installed any in my area. They gave me a lot of addresses with the names/colour of what each door was. I then drove around and had a look at them. It's quite reassuring. Also, you can get to see them at different times of the day to see the colour variations. Good luck. I was thinking of doing this and asking the suppliers.. but i would have thought it would be against privacy laws to give out addresses. Re: Colorbond Cedar garage doors photos required please. 9Apr 03, 2009 4:42 pm No problems with the supplier I rang. They were very helpful. They don't give you names, just addresses. I also asked if they could send me out some actual samples ... I received 3 samples, approx 6cm x 6cm sent to me in the post. Apparently not an issue, or maybe they have already asked for permission. Austral & Boral also give out addresses who have used their brick to see it in person in your area so I guess its commonplace. ICK So glad the building is over, never again. The sectional garage was also part of our standard, but if we wanted that colour it was a $350 upgrade. Our door is a bit bigger than norm, but not THAT much bigger. Wow Is that only for the colour upgrade? That is def expensive!
