Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 22, 2009 8:01 pm Whilst checking out the new PD displays at Mernda yesterday, I noticed a very low-profile roof tile that was used on one of the Prestige homes, and Toni (House-to-be) pointed out that they're actually a stick-on shingle type of deal. One of the M3tricon displays under construction was being roofed with the same material - instead of nailing battens to the roof trusses, they attach sheets of ply and stick the product to that. I was bitten by the curiosity bug, but can't find anything on the net about this product. Anyone come across it, used it, or got a website link? Pretty please? I wonder whether it's more or less expensive than concrete tiles. Surely it must save $$ - the roof wouldn't have to be engineered to hold up a squillion tonnes of concrete, for a start. I only noticed the roof on the way out, so didn't ask anyone about it. If I go back, I'll see if the sales people know anything.
