We have an approved DA in Sydney for a mid-sized renovation. Since work has commenced my Wife is concerned the resulting living area won't be large enough. As a result, we are considering the possibility of extending slightly out of the rear of the house. Should we proceed, I'll need to apply to Council for a Section 96 modification, which means amended plans, engineering drawings, Council fees, $, $, $ We have a couple of ideas, and I would like to run these by an independent building professional to get an idea of the likely costs involved so that we can decide whether to proceed, organise amended plans, etc. Is anyone aware of a company/individuals in Sydney who offer such a service? Thanks in advance, Grant --Grant Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing. If you just do a 400x200 footing it will fail in time.
