For normal batten and pendent, are they actually plug in the same socket?
W are working on electrical plan.....not sure if the socket for pendent is the same as the normal batten one....

You can get different types of light fittings - some are meant as DIY items and just fit over the batten. Lots of oysters and some pendants do this. Others need to be done by an electrician, who'll unscrew the batten to expose the flex and install the new fitting. Have a look at the DIY range at Bunnings to get an idea of what's available.
