I may be wrong but I'm sure there was just an earthquake today at 4.30PM, in south east Melbourne.
And it went longer than the last one....
Anyone else?

Another earthquake has been felt in Melbourne, just two weeks after a 4.6 quake shook suburbs around Melbourne on March 7. mmm....donuts Homer Simpson 1956- Links: Site Costs Ready Reckoner | H1 Addiction Medical Advice | Château TDL: The Backyard Re: Another earthquake? 4Mar 18, 2009 3:39 pm I'm in a 3 story building at work and I just felt it also.. http://maps.google.com/maps?&t=p&z=7&q=Korumburra+ML4.5@-38.43+145.87 0528 UTC, 145.87°E, 38.42°S, 10 km deep (Friday, March 18, 04:28 pm AEDT) This earthquake occurred about 5km northeast of Korumburra, in the same area as the magnitude 4.6 earthquake on March 6. This earthquake has been felt widely throughout the epicentral region and across Melbourne. The aftershock sequence is expected to continue. We have had no reports of damage and it is unlikely that an earthquake of this magnitude and depth will cause any significant damage. Based on a previous life doing seismic retrofits on dams, earthquakes...well tremors by world standards really...in south eastern Australia do occur in "clusters". Edit...shouldn't post and drive...that should be spatially clustered...temporal clusters of the same or similar magnitude are rare. Oh...and even though it was in Korrumburra...didn't feel a thing in Maffra. mmm....donuts Homer Simpson 1956- Links: Site Costs Ready Reckoner | H1 Addiction Medical Advice | Château TDL: The Backyard Re: Another earthquake? 8Mar 18, 2009 4:03 pm wakeboardandy I'm in a 3 story building at work and I just felt it also.. Wonder whats up with the earth these days its certainly not happy Re: Another earthquake? 12Mar 18, 2009 4:15 pm Yep, I felt this one. I'm on the 7th floor of a building in East Melbourne and felt the floor shaking. It was the same sort of feeling like when the washing machine tries to make a run for it on the spin cycle Re: Another earthquake? 14Mar 18, 2009 4:29 pm I'm rather annoyed...missed it completely. Kids missed it too, and the cat looks totally unconcerned. Had it happened during dinner, or while I was sitting here then I probably would have felt it...oh well! ...but the last one was ACE!!! I'm not even sure where I was, I was either driving or at my mum's trying to help my dad move a latex mattress from the bedroom to a trailer outside in fact I wouldn't be surprised if that's what started it - not easy moving a 100kg lump of latex!!!
