Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Anyone building carlisle home- Prominence 38???? 2Mar 13, 2009 8:48 pm Not me, but my brother and his wife are looking at building it
They wanted to make a few small changes like taking the wall out of the study and lounge to create one big room. They don't want to spend over $280k total (not including land) including floor coverings, some upgrades and curtains - do you think this is achievable based on what you spent? Will be following your build with interest My karma ran over your dogma Re: Anyone building carlisle home- Prominence 38???? 3Mar 14, 2009 4:46 pm I'm almost done building Atlantique 36MK2, but I think the Prominence is a really nice double storey. I particularly like the colours used in the Lyndhurst version, base price is good, so you really can't go wrong there. Good luck with the build, house will look fantastic!

We are doing our own floor coverings ourselves, extended garage added spa to ensuite and as i said well under.

We are building the Prominence in Alamanda, Point Cook but are just getting started. We have our colour browse today - fun, fun! Our land isn't titling until October so will have to wait until then to get started. We have made one structural change - moving the opening to the rumpus from the hallway to the family room. We are making the lounge our theatre room, and the rumpus will be the kids playroom. I want to be able to look in to the playroom from the kitchen and family room. (The Atlantique would have been perfect in this regard). We won't be having a TV in the family room so we can put a couch against that wall and maybe add an armchair or two to the room so it is still open. We will work it out! Actually, we are extending the garage too and even though the spa was tempting, I really love how the WIR connects to the ensuite so will save for an outdoor spa instead! Carlisle use to sneak a water resistant "Performance Solution" into their contracts. Have you checked your contract for same? 4 10273 We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37160 Hi All, we are starting to think of building with Masterpiece Builders in Victoria, has anyone had any feedback or experience with them 0 13603 |
